Return & Exchange Policy – Shop Bits & Pieces

WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?

Bits and Pieces does not offer refunds for Change of Mind. We are pleased to offer an exchange for Change of Mind within 30 days of purchase.

  1. If your purchase was made online contact our Customer Care Team at hello@shopbitsandpieces.com.au within 30 days of purchase.
  2. If you purchased in store, the exchange needs to occur in our Bits & Pieces Broadway store at 129 -135 Broadway Ultimo NSW 2007
  3. Product exchange needs to be of the same or higher value than the original product. No vouchers or credit notes will be issued. 
  4. You have produced satisfactory Proof of Purchase by way of original purchase receipt or tax invoice.
  5. Item(s) being exchanged were not marked as “Final Sale” or Non-Returnable at the time of purchase, unless faulty.
  6. Item(s) must be in the original packaging, which must be in original condition. This includes branded dust bags, shoe boxes, jewelry and watch packaging and any relevant warranty cards.
  7. Item(s) must be unworn and unused with the original tags still attached. Items sealed for hygiene reasons cannot be returned.
  8. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

 

ARE THERE ANY EXCLUSIONS FROM THE RETURNS POLICY?

Yes, there are exclusions from the returns policy. The following items are non-returnable:

  • Swimwear
  • Underwear
  • Earrings
  • Hair Accessories
  • All Makeup and Skincare items
  • Confectionery and Food
  • Wine, Spirits and Liquor

 

WHAT IF MY PRODUCT IS FAULTY?

As a consumer, you are entitled to the benefit of statutory consumer guarantees in respect of items or services purchased from Bits & Pieces. If you believe an item or service is faulty, not of acceptable quality, or is not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. However these consumer guarantees do not apply where the item was damaged due to abnormal use or misuse.

It may be necessary for us to send the item to the manufacturer or their service agent for it to be assessed and authenticated. In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, if the failure is minor, we may repair the item (or, at our discretion, we may replace the item or refund you) within a reasonable time. If the item or service has a major failure, you may reject it and seek a refund or replacement. These consumer guarantees apply to items or services and may be impacted by the type and age and nature of the item.

All exchange for faulty products need to be done in person at Bits & Pieces Broadway store at 129 -135 Broadway Ultimo NSW 2007.
